Tree sparrow  is familiar for a long time in the face with human in Japan. There is rice farming agriculture in Japan. Tree sparrow eats the rice. It is disliked for the rice farming farmer in Japan, from long ago to now. However, tree sparrow is very familiar existence for the Japanese, and friendly existence. Even the person who doesn’t know bird’s kind knows “Tree sparrow”.

Japan became an economic country, and the rice field decreased considerably now.
However, they have evolved, too. As for them, the center of the city is stout alive as it eats various one such as bread crumbs. They are birds not seen in mountain where the person doesn’t exist.

What life on earth had they done before the human came to Japan? Did they come to Japan with human?Baikada’s main website

In Japan, there is a proverb “Hare that runs away”. This is a word transmitted from China. The meaning is “Do quickly like the hare that runs away. ”

Freeze!
However, it seems to differ for of Japanese hare(Lepus brachyurus)’s juvenile. There are a lot of quiet do not run away to way of the photograph things. The strategy of this is a method of cheating in the protective coloration, and overdoing the enemy. It is freeze! This juvenile became tense very much for the enemy faceing. I’m sorry for taking photograph in the presence.

As for the region where I took this photograph, Japanese hare’s subspecies, Touhoku hare, and Japanese hare seem to live. The difference is whether the hair whitens at the snowfall period or it is leaving brown. This juvenile might be which?

To record the animal that I had seen, I began to take the photograph. This House gecko taught me living creature’s beauty.

He is not a living creature that stands out. His skin is one flesh-colored color, and doesn’t usually have the pattern either. However, the pattern goes out when is in a dark point and the tree. I think that this is his protective coloration. I doubted, “Was I taking such photograph?” because I saw this photograph.

I was able to take a picture of the race monitor by 400mm. I did not think that I used 400mm for a big creature to take a picture. Height where he is about 20meters. He climbed it very hard.

I like ecology photograph in animal’s photograph. One photograph passes on various information to me. (habitat, food, and animal’s characters) However, I also have the animal that cannot take the ecology photograph easily. I think that I don’t take the animal easily, and the salamander is a top class in the animal. (Japanese giant salamander and small salamander’s larvas are exceptions. )

I wanted to take the expression of East Hida-salamander this photograph, put on moss, and taken. I think him lovely very much. However,It is almost and doesn’t get East Hida-salamander in such a place. This photograph is not an ecology photograph.

A small salamander hides around here somewhere from summer to winter. And, a small salamander comes to lay eggs from the early spring to spring in the waterside.
As for us, the chance that the salamander can be observed decreases very much if we are not these egg laying time. The salamander is a shy, delicate living thing.

I want to take the ecology photographs other than the egg laying time some time. However, I think that the photograph where the charm of the living thing is told is good. I will variously take the photograph.

The Siberian chipmunk hibernates in cold winter. And, when it comes spring, she wakes up from hibernation, she copulates, and she has a baby. It was an early summer that I met this Siberian chipmunk. When she desperately picked up food, she was eating in my presence. She ate and she was eating the person desperately in my presence though there might be accustoming.

I returned to the house, and I edited the photograph , I noticed it. Her breast develops. She might have been lactation.

The purpose of her eating hard is to make the milk that not only was secured my food but also was given to the baby.

I think, Mourning gecko’s mouth is smaller than another geckos. I saw that another geckos ate the moth and etc., but I couldn’t see that the scene of Mourning gecko’s hunting. One day, I met team of research of mourning gecko. I heard that the geckos are coming together to the flower of Barringtonia in the garden of a certain person’s private house. I identified, it is mourning gecko.

You can see the ant which come together to the flower in this photograph. Did mourning gecko eat the ant? Or, did mourning gecko lick the honey of the flower?
The gecko might lick a fruit and a sweet jelly.

I couldn’t understand why geckos come together the flower. The team reseaches why geckos come together. I think, it is very hard research. But I think, it is very fun, too. 🙂

I was not good at English. An English grade was not good at me.

I tried to write this moth’s(Pidorus atratus) article and rebuked. The translation site of the Internet translates “Hade(Japanese)” into “Gay” though I want to write the word of the meaning “He is showy”. There is certainly a meaning “Showy” in “Gay”, too. However, it has the meaning that cannot be said too much in a public way.

と書きたいのに “He is a gay moth.”
I want to write “He is a showy moth.” But, translation site translates “He is a gay moth.” In this mean, it is “Moth of the male specialty. ” …It decided to write to “Vivid” or “Colorful” for the time being.

This moth(Pidorus atratus) is a moth that unique that acts in daytime. A black appearance that stands out though daytime why might be done. In addition, it might have a red head that stands out. Because it was me who was not able to understand the intention of evolution, it did. By the way, the larva secretes Poisonal liqid. Please be careful when to touch him.

Spring. There are consecutive holidays that are called Golden Week in Japan.
At that time, Japanese travel here and there. The migratory birds finish passing the winter in spring. And, to breed, the migratory birds head for the north (In case of the northern hemisphere).

This eurasian siskin met me as time where the Japanese moved and migratory bird’s movement time came in succession just. The travel of thousands of kilometers is done twice a year by this body a little 10cm. The rest is sometimes taken on the island etc, because the migratory birds become tired of course. It is great vitality. However, the migratory birds have the danger attacked also by the foreign enemy of the hawk etc, for this period. The migratory birds might mentally become tired.

The eurasian siskin ate Common Dandelion without caring about one’s look in my presence. There is no composure of feelings to which the eurasian siskin flies away, though the eurasian siskin considers me. If it doesn’t surely eat the siskin now, the migratory flight might not be finished. I was known the severity of the migratory flight, again.
