私は、見た動物を証拠写真として記録するために写真を始めました。このホオグロヤモリは、私に、生き物の美しさを教えてくれました。
To record the animal that I had seen, I began to take the photograph. This House gecko taught me living creature’s beauty.

彼は、はっきり言ってぱっとしない見栄えです。肌色で、目立つ訳でもなく…。しかし、暗いところ、そして樹木にいるときには保護色変化でこんな斑紋が出るんですね！出来上がってきた写真を見て、「あれ、こんなの撮ったかな…？」と首を傾げるほどでした。
He is not a living creature that stands out. His skin is one flesh-colored color, and doesn’t usually have the pattern either. However, the pattern goes out when is in a dark point and the tree. I think that this is his protective coloration. I doubted, “Was I taking such photograph?” because I saw this photograph.

それ以来、生き物のいろんな一面を撮るのが楽しくなりました。この写真が今の自分の原点のひとつです。
My taking pictures various one sides of the living creature became happy since then. This photograph is my starting point.
