同じアオダイショウでも、性格に違いがあります。たとえ図鑑におとなしいと描いてある種類でも、ガンガン咬んでくる個体もいるんです。人間と同じように個体差が激しいです。

このアオダイショウは、ものすごい神経質でした。そしてものすごく咬みました。逃げることを忘れ、ずっと私に咬み付いていました。

口をあけて威嚇するのは、日本では実は毒のない蛇であることがほとんどですね。
