今年出会えたヘビで一番うれしかったもの。やっぱりサキシマバイカダ。
とても素敵なヘビ。
The snake which I meet you in this year, and was the nicest is White banded wolf snake. A very wonderful snake.

奇縁で彼女は、今うちにいるのだけど、
やはり野生で過ごす姿の方がとりわけ美しい。
She lives with me by a strange relationship now. However, their figure to watch in nature is than them who watch it at home more beautiful.
餌は問題なく食べるけれど、ほとんど馴染まない。
よく咬み、よく噴き、よく威嚇する。
やっぱり馴染むアオダイショウの方が、「飼う楽しさ」は有るだろう。
Though she eats bait by no problem, she is hardly familiar with me. It gets caught frequently, and she arrives and threatens me. Japanese ratsnake is familiar with a human. Therefore surely Japanese ratsnake is suitable if you demand the pleasure that you keep.
でもとてもこの蛇には生態的に興味がある。
だから、いまここにいる姿をよく観察して、
一般には知られない何かをしだしたようなときには
ちゃんとどこかに報告はしようと思っている。
But I am interested in this snake for the habits very much. Therefore I observe the figure which is here well now. If I find their phenomenon that is not known generally, I think that I will report it properly.

本来は夜の蛇だから、これは捕まえたあとで
昼間に捕まえた場所で撮影したもの。
This snake is originally nocturnal.
Therefore this photograph is the photograph which I took at noon since I catch a snake once.
なんだかんだ言っても、一番好きなヘビはサキシマバイカダだ。
There is the problem in various ways when I live together, but the snake which I like most is White banded wolf snake.
サキシマバイカダと、それを育んだ環境、そして出会えたフィールドに感謝。
I have gratitudes White banded wolf snake,
the environment where she was grown up,
and Field where I was able to meet her.
